Galle Home

The current address is 299 Waterbury Hill Road.   

Through marriage over generations, the house became home to Campbell, Adriance, Galle and other families.  Collin's daughter married a Campbell of Pawling. Campbell had two daughters, Mrs. Simpson and Mrs. Adriance. 

​Built over 3 years from 1837 to 1840 by George Collins and 60 men living on-site.

On the 1850 map, it shows nothing on east-west section of Waterbury Hill Road between South Smith Road and Bloomer Road except "Widow Collins".
